I was born in the Philippines and moved to Canada at the age of 15. I later graduated as an addiction counsellor in Saskatchewan, and since then, I have been supporting individuals struggling with substance use and mental health issues—offering compassion, understanding, and guidance rooted in genuine care and empathy.
My heart for service began long before this foundation. Since the age of 19, I have been involved in charitable work, including volunteering with organizations, providing food and supplies to the unhoused in Saskatoon, donating to various causes, and extending support internationally by providing supplies to orphanages and youth detention facilities in the Philippines. I strive to serve with compassion and empathy, shaped by my own understanding of pain and hardship.
At the same time, I have been helping animals in the Philippines since 2020. This includes not only stray dogs and cats, but also animals with owners who were living in conditions of neglect or abuse and needed intervention and rescue. Through this journey, I have witnessed both the harsh realities of cruelty and the incredible resilience, loyalty, and love these animals continue to show despite everything they’ve been through.
Growing up, I had a deep fear of animals due to a lack of education around animal welfare. Many believed stray animals carried rabies and were dangerous, and that fear stayed with me for years.
Everything changed in 2020 when I chose to face that fear and welcomed my first puppy of my own, Snowball. Through him, I discovered unconditional love, trust, and companionship. I began educating myself, learning about animal behaviour, and understanding the responsibility we have to protect them. What started as overcoming fear grew into a lifelong commitment.
For nearly six years, I have independently funded and carried out rescue efforts—supporting veterinary care, advocating for accountability in abuse cases, donating to many small local shelters, and promoting animal welfare awareness, all while coordinating from Canada. When I was in the Philippines last 2025, My fiance and I carried out daily stray feeding, and when I am in Canada, I continue this effort by sponsoring trusted shelters and rescuers to conduct stray feeding on my behalf.
Much of this work was done quietly and independently, often funded out of my own pocket. To sustain these efforts, I even collected and recycled bottles to help raise funds—doing whatever I could to continue helping both animals and people in need.
I am also currently organizing an auction fundraiser in collaboration with Animal Kingdom Foundation to sponsor free spay and neuter services in the Philippines. The auction will run until May 23, 2026, with all proceeds going directly toward reducing the stray animal population through humane and sustainable solutions.
Voiceless No More: Philippines Stray Animals Foundation was created to give these animals a voice—to share their stories, raise awareness, and push for real, lasting change.
This is more than just advocacy.
This is something I carry with me every day.
NOTE:
Voiceless No More: Philippines Stray Animals Foundation was officially registered on April 12, 2026, built on years of unwavering, independent advocacy led by "Dindi". Not all photos and moments are captured or included (though remittance receipts & communications with shelters and/or rescuers are available), as this journey was never meant to become a formal nonprofit—it began quietly, without the expectation of documentation. Along the way, it became clear that if so many animals could be saved through one person’s limited resources, the impact could be far greater when more people open their hearts and come together to make a difference.

UPDATE:
Thank you to our winner! We will also be adding funds from our general donations, bringing the total support amount to Php 40,000. These funds will go toward spay/neuter initiatives in partnership with Animal Kingdom Foundation @akfanimalrescue . We are hoping the funds will be deposited into our bank account by Monday, June 1, or within the following few days. Thank you all for your support!!!
For this initiative, we are proud to partner with Animal Kingdom Foundation, which operates a clinic in Tarlac, Philippines, where they will provide free spaying and neutering services for dogs and cats using the funds raised. All proceeds from this auction will directly support these efforts—helping control stray populations, prevent suffering, and promote long-term animal welfare.
Animal Kingdom Foundation is a nonprofit organization based in the Philippines dedicated to protecting animals and promoting humane treatment. They are best known for their work in ending the dog meat trade, rescuing dogs from slaughter, and rehabilitating them for a second chance at life. In addition to rescue efforts, they provide education programs, advocate for stronger animal protection laws, and run community initiatives such as spay and neuter programs to address the root causes of animal overpopulation.
